“ When the menu is small, the Food will be good. The menu here is small, and the food was superb. It was easy to pick what I wanted. The food itself was really good and made fresh. The hot chocolate with whipped cream wasn't overly sweet, I deeply appreciated that. The eggs and vegetables were cooked perfectly. 10/10 highly recommend. Prices are also very affordable and the food is filling. The staff was very attentive and cheerful. They carried themselves courteously and graciously. “ First time at this local Winsted establishment and very impressed. We arrived just after 11 AM which is when they take down the breakfast menu so we were only exposed to their lunch offerings - ended up taking their pulled pork BBQ sandwich and their tomato bisque soup - both very much to our liking. Coffee was nice and hot, service prompt, efficient, helpful and friendly. Decor and vibe are great. They go to a lot of trouble to use local ingredients with a farm-to-table ethic where possible. They make their own potato chips - very good. We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend to folk visiting with us from out of town. Street entrance has steps - we had crutches and were able to easily enter using their side/kitchen entrance. Wheelchair would have been very tricky. They have outside seating and various separate spaces inside. ”
